Patch 2.02 v9.7.6 is now available for download, just in time for the upcoming tournament! Please head over to the RotWK Patch 2.02 section on the Launcher to update.

Note for our Spanish player base: the language file has been updated and will download automatically with the new version.

Points Decay Update:

  • 1v1 inactivity period increased to 10 days (from 7 days) with a loss of 10 points
  • 2v2 inactivity period added: 10 days with a loss of 2 points
  • 3v3, 4v4, and FFA exempt from points decay

  • Mordor, Isengard, and Goblin Lumber Mill Labourers can now earn Power Points when damaging enemies.

General Balance

  • Untamed Allegiance Creep Lair Production speed bonus duration reduced to 30s (from 1m). Regular Production Building Production speed bonus duration remains 1m.
  • Untamed Allegiance target radius increased to 100 (from 60).
  • All Axe Throwers now deal 25% less damage against Builders.

Audio & Graphics Changes

  • House of Lamentations now renders a blackish, dark purple mist-like FX when purchased.

Neutral

  • Barrow Wight Lair:

Inn

  • Ranged units in Hold Ground stance now only lose 85% auto-acquire vision (was 97%).
  • Increased the geometry of neutral building capture flags.
  • Strands of Wall segments now construct simultaneously (as opposed to segments closest to the starting point constructing first).

  • Barrow Wights spawned from all Morgul Blade abilities are now permanent and count toward the Command Point limit. Barrow Wights will not spawn if CP limited has been reached. Can be levelled up like regular units.
